Linking the Southbank Cities Together…

NKY TRAILS/SOUTHBANK Opening Day on the Trails

April 16, 2016 • 4pm-6pm
Sawyer Point, Pete Rose Way, Cincinnati, OH

April 16 is Opening Day on the Trails! Opening Day on the Trails is a national kickoff to the spring outdoors season, organized by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy. Tri-State Trails will be launching Greater Cincinnati's first Trails Challenge at the Earth Day Celebration at Sawyer Point.

Stop by Sawyer Point anytime between 12pm and 5pm to grab a Trails Challenge passport. At 2pm we will embark on a group walk across the Purple People Bridge into Kentucky. Pledge to get outside on Opening Day for a chance to win a Fuji bike!

Southbank Trail Town initiative is seeking Kentucky Trail Town status for the Southbank cities of Ludlow, Covington, Newport, Bellevue, Dayton, and Fort Thomas. It builds off the efforts of the people and organizations in the Southbank cities in envisioning, creating and supporting the wonderful trails in our communities.
